What Pro actually does
- One-click palette repair
- Palette Doctor tells everyone what's wrong for free. Pro applies the fix — bounded OKLCH adjustments that raise contrast without shifting your hues.
- Semantic design tokens
- Turn five swatches into a working theme — background, surface, border, text, primary with its hover and focus states, success/warning/danger. Every pairing ships with the contrast ratio it was measured at, so nobody has to re-audit it. Exports to CSS, SCSS, Tailwind or DTCG.
- Exportable audit report
- The whole diagnosis as a file you can commit next to your code — findings, severities, and the thresholds they were judged against. Deliberately untimestamped, so it diffs cleanly when the palette moves.
- Merge duplicate colors
- Collapse perceptually identical swatches into one, so a 40-color palette becomes the 12 colors it actually is.
- Palette compression
- Cut a sprawling palette to a chosen size and see what each step costs before you take it. Survivors are your original colors, never averages — so the diff stays reviewable.

- No 30-palette cap — save as many as you like, synced to your account.

Questions
- Do I need an account to use the tools?
- No. Every free tool — generator, contrast checker, palette diagnosis, photo picker, gradient maker, code export — runs without signing in. An account only exists so saved palettes follow you between devices.
- What happens when I cancel?
- Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account reverts to Free. Nothing is deleted — palettes you saved over the 30-palette free cap stay in your account; you just can't add new ones until you're back under the cap.
- What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
- Only how often you're billed. Both unlock exactly the same Pro — every feature in the table above. Yearly is $36 for twelve months, which works out at $3 a month instead of $5, a saving of 40%. It's charged once, up front.
- I'm on monthly. Can I switch to yearly?
- Yes, from your account page: start the yearly plan, then cancel the monthly one. The monthly subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, so nothing is lost in the changeover.
- Why is the diagnosis free when the fix is paid?
- Because a paywalled accessibility check is worth less than a free one — the number needs to be quotable, and its arithmetic and thresholds are published for the same reason. Pro buys the artefact: the repaired palette, the tokens, the committable report.
- Is my palette or image ever uploaded?
- Only if you save it to your account. Color math, image sampling and export all run in your browser; the photo picker and recolor tools never send your image anywhere.
